Detailed release notes:

Tone of voice enhancements to Step 2 - Specify:

We have made two important updates to Step 2 (Specify) to ensure your tone of voice better aligns with your preferences:

  1. Word Limit for Description: You can now set a maximum word count for the product description, ensuring it stays within your desired limits.

  2. Inclusion of Brand Description: If a brand description is available, you can now choose whether it should be included in the product description. Brand descriptions can be filled in on the Brand Types Data Enhancement page.

Tone of voice Step 3 - Prompt fine tuning:

To ensure the prompt used for generating product descriptions fully aligns with your specifications, we now offer the ability to view and edit the prompt.

For clarity, the prompt has been divided into four sections:

  1. Prompt Introduction

  2. Lists

  3. List Prompt

  4. Guidelines

These improvements provide greater flexibility and transparency, allowing you to fine-tune the product description process according to your needs.

Prompt introduction:

In the Prompt Introduction section, you can now define the context for your product descriptions. This allows you to specify that the products should be described in an SEO-friendly manner, aligning with your chosen tone of voice. This enhancement ensures that your product descriptions not only meet your tone requirements but are also optimized for search engines, improving their overall effectiveness.

Lists:

In the List section, you now have the ability to create lists that will be integrated into your product descriptions. These lists can be populated with attributes either identified from images or drawn from data. This feature ensures that the content described in the product description is highly relevant and accurately reflects the key features of the product.

List prompt:

In the List Prompt section, you can integrate your created lists into the product description. For example, you can include the items from a list directly into the description by using the following command: "Use the items of the following list: List 1, in the product description." You also have the option to create a bullet point list by giving the command: "Create a bullet point list with the items of the following list: List 2, underneath the product description." This allows you to customize how your lists are displayed in the final output.

Guidelines:

In the Guidelines section, you can add specific instructions that the product description must follow. Here, you can define details such as the required word count for the description or specify a sentence that the description should start or end with. These guidelines help ensure that the generated product descriptions meet your exact expectations and standards. The guidelines you can create can vary greatly. For example, you can specify: "Avoid formal language" or "End every product description with: Order today, delivered tomorrow. Don't wait any longer!"

Prompt and product description preview & fine tuning:

In Step 3, you now have the option to test your created prompt on your products. You can specify certain brands or merchandise categories to fetch relevant products. For each of these products, the generated prompt will be displayed, and you will have the option to create a product description based on that prompt. This feature allows you to easily review the output and refine the prompt to ensure it perfectly aligns with your products, providing better control and customization over the final product descriptions.

Prompt visibility and customization on PD Job

To give you full transparency over the prompts used to generate product descriptions, we now display the prompt directly on the PD Job page. Additionally, you can edit the prompt and regenerate the product description based on the updated prompt.

This allows you to apply the most recent changes at the job level, ensuring that the product description is always relevant and tailored to your specific needs.

New options for Tone of Voice and Auto Confirm and Active

Two new options have been added to enhance your workflow:

  1. Tone of Voice Activation: You can now set the tone of voice to either active or inactive. If the tone of voice is inactive, it will not be triggered in the automation. When active, it will be applied as usual during the automation process.

  2. Auto Confirm: This option allows for automatic confirmation of all generated product descriptions. When Auto Confirm is enabled, product descriptions will be automatically confirmed. If disabled, you will need to manually confirm the jobs, as before.

These new features provide greater flexibility and control over how your product descriptions are generated and managed.

Tone of voice configuration:

Your created Tone of Voices are now visible in a centralized overview. From this interface, you can easily view important details about each tone of voice, such as whether it is active and whether auto confirm is enabled. In addition, you can directly edit or delete tone of voice configurations from this overview, giving you full control over the management and customization of your tone settings.

Automation rules options:

The Automation Rules feature has been enhanced to provide more flexibility. Previously, automation rules could only be triggered by a single brand or merchandise category. With this new release, you can now create rules that trigger based on one or multiple brands, one or multiple merchandise categories, or even a combination of both. This enhancement allows for more precise and customized automation, streamlining your processes even further.

Customizable Product Titles:

To give you more control over the product titles, they are now fully customizable. When the default option is disabled, you can modify the order and content of the title using the available settings. Please note, however, that creating custom titles may have a negative impact on your SEO score, so use this feature with care to maintain optimal search engine visibility.
