Introduction:

We're excited to announce version 1.8.0 of the WAIR Customer Portal, with a focus on the Product Describer solution. This update brings significant performance optimizations, allowing you to generate product descriptions faster than ever before. Additionally, setting up your tone of voice and prompts is now simpler and more flexible. Various small improvements have been made to streamline your workflow and enhance overall efficiency.

Product describer:

Instant prompt save:

In previous versions, any changes made to the prompt required you to manually save them via the save button. With this update, your adjustments are now automatically saved in real-time, making them instantly available in step 3 of the tone of voice setup. This means that your changes are ready to use immediately when you describe sample product.

Custom tags recognition :

Previously, custom-created tags could not be recognized from product photos. With this update, categories and tags that you have personally created are now recognized and tagged, as long as they are correctly filled in. To ensure optimal recognition by our model, make sure the names are not overly technical.

Product Description (re)generation speed:

We have significantly improved the speed of generating and regenerating product descriptions. This enhancement allows you to create and refine descriptions much faster, optimizing your workflow and providing a more efficient user experience when working with the Product Describer.

Manual Edits to Generated Product Descriptions

When you manually edit the generated product title, meta description, or product description, your changes will now be applied exactly as entered. Your manual adjustments take precedence, and no automatic regeneration will occur. Please note that manual changes must be made separately for each language, if necessary. If you want to apply changes across all languages, you can do so via the "Add Feedback" function or by adjusting the tags and regenerating the product description.

Inclusion of Item Style Attributes in Product Descriptions

Item style attributes connected to an item are now automatically set to be included in the product description. If these attributes are referenced in the prompt, they will be incorporated into the description. However, if an item style attribute is linked to a product but not mentioned in the prompt, it will not be included in the product description. This gives you greater control over which attributes are highlighted in the final output.

Tone of voice delete validation:

It is no longer possible to delete a tone of voice that is currently being used in one or more automation rules. If you wish to delete a tone of voice, you must first unlink it from any associated automation rules. This safeguard ensures that automation rules are not triggered without a tone of voice, preventing potential issues in generating product descriptions.

Dashboard Design Update

To ensure relevant information for each solution is displayed clearly, the design of the dashboard on the homepage has been updated. Each solution now has a dedicated block where its key KPIs are shown. KPIs are now grouped separately for the following solutions: Initial Distributor, Replenisher, Redistributor, and Product Describer. This redesign provides a more organized and intuitive view of your performance metrics, making it easier to monitor and manage each solution.

Merged Styles and Variants configuration:

To simplify the management of styles and variants, these elements have been merged into a single page. Variants are displayed beneath their corresponding styles in a tree view structure, making them easier to manage. Additionally, when a style is set to inactive, all underlying variants are automatically set to inactive as well, and the reverse applies when setting a style to active.

Our primary focus in the coming period is on delivering the MVP of the Replenishment Engine. In short, the Replenishment Engine will allow you to create transfer proposals based on your delivery settings and the replenishment engine settings, ensuring a more streamlined and automated replenishment process
