Introduction:

We’re excited to announce version 1.10.0 of the Customer Portal, enhancing the Replenishment Engine for more efficient inventory management. This update includes multiple approvements on the replenishment engine, providing more control and flexibility in managing stock levels across locations. Read on for more details!

Replenishment engine configuration

The Replenishment Engine offers expanded configuration options to better tailor transfer proposals to your store’s inventory needs. You can specify whether to enforce or ignore the minimum receive quantity, maximum receive quantity, and maximum storage capacity of the receiving store:

  • Force: Ensures the rule is always applied.

  • Off: Ignores the rule when creating transfers.

  • Ask: Generates an alert in the replenishment monitoring, allowing you to decide whether to create the proposed transfers.

Review created replenishment transfers:

If the auto-approve feature is disabled in the Replenishment Engine, you’ll need to manually review all created transfers. These transfers are gathered in the Proposals screen within the Replenisher solution. Here, you can select individual transfer lines for approval or rejection, or approve/reject all transfers at once for quicker processing.

Additionally, you can export these transfers in CSV format. This allows for bulk editing of quantities or statuses outside the platform, after which you can re-import the modified file to apply changes efficiently.

This feature provides flexibility and control over the replenishment process, ensuring only the necessary transfers are approved.

Replenishment transfers triggered by “Ask“ through the engine settings:

Replenishment transfers triggered by the "ask" setting for minimum/maximum shipment quantity or maximum storage capacity now appear in the Replenishment Monitoring. This screen provides detailed information on why a store was triggered and presents your options for approving or declining the replenishment transfers.

You’ll see relevant data such as the alert date, current stock quantity, minimum and maximum shipment quantities, and maximum storage capacity. This feature offers greater insight and control, allowing you to make informed decisions about replenishment transfers directly from the monitoring interface.

Active location/style combination for replenishment:

To simplify the management of replenishment transfers for specific styles, you can now control which locations are active for each style. This feature allows you to easily prevent certain locations from receiving a specific style by toggling their active status. Additionally, you can export this data, enabling bulk updates to set locations as active or inactive for a given style.

Reserve variant stock for warehouses:

You can now specify the quantity of reserved stock per variant in each warehouse. This reserved quantity is maintained in the warehouse and not included in replenishment transfers, ensuring critical stock levels are met. This feature allows you to manage non-replenishable quantities per size for each warehouse, providing more control over stock allocation and ensuring sufficient inventory is always on hand.

Variant stock targets per location:

Stock targets are now displayed per variant, allowing for detailed visibility and control over inventory levels across locations. You can view stock targets directly from replenishment operations by clicking on the desired style.

Replenishment Monitoring:

To provide a clearer overview of essential replenishment metrics, we have redesigned the Monitoring page to display more relevant information. The updated page now includes:

  • Prediction Accuracy: View the accuracy of predictions, along with over-predictions and under-predictions for the past 6 weeks.

  • Stock Health: Monitor key metrics such as the out-of-stock ratio, both year-to-date and from the previous week, to assess service levels.

  • Transfer Quantity: Detailed insights into transfer quantities over the last 6 weeks, with breakdowns of external, redistribution, and replenishment transfers.
