Introduction:

Welcome to the latest updates for the WAIR customer portal! This release focuses on enhancing user experience, improving data accessibility, and adding flexibility for managing subtenants and filters. From creating tailored attributes to streamlined filtering options, these updates ensure greater control and efficiency across the portal.

Product describer:

Attributes without image recognition:

In the Product Describer, it is now possible to create attributes that are not automatically assigned a value through image recognition. The values must be manually assigned on open Product Describer jobs, giving you full control over properties that do not need automatic recognition. This is particularly useful for specific characteristics such as sustainability or model length, providing greater flexibility in creating tailored product descriptions.

Subtenants:

It is now possible to create subtenants to ensure users work only with relevant data. For each subtenant, you can link one or more location clusters and style groups, granting users within a subtenant access only to the assigned data. This selection is automatically applied across all pages the user can access, ensuring they work exclusively within the relevant dataset.

Create subtenant:

To create a subtenant, you need to provide a unique name and assign one or more location clusters and style groups to the subtenant. Location clusters can be created via Data Enhancement → Location Clusters, and style groups can be found under Data Enhancement → Style Groups.

Assign users to your subtenant:

To ensure that users are correctly linked to a subtenant, you can assign users to one or more subtenants via Settings → User Management. This ensures that the user only has access to the data associated with the assigned subtenant.

Subtenant user menu items:

Users within a subtenant have restricted access to the portal. To ensure they can work efficiently and with focus, several menu items have been removed. All Configuration, Strategy, Settings, and Data Enhancement pages are no longer accessible to subtenant users.

Solution based access:

As a tenant, you do not have access to solutions you are not subscribed to. However, you can still view key information about the solution at a glance. Additionally, you have the option to easily book a meeting to learn more about its features and how it can support your organization.

New way of filtering:

To ensure users can quickly and easily retrieve the right data, we’ve updated the filters across the entire portal. All filters are now accessible via a convenient fly-out, allowing you to apply and execute the necessary filters instantly. There’s no longer a distinction between basic and advanced filters—everything you need is now neatly organized within the fly-out.

Quick/default filters:

As with the old filters, the new filters also allow you to set up quick and default filters. You can save your active filter as a quick filter and easily reactivate it later. Additionally, you can set a quick filter as your default filter, which will automatically apply every time you access the page
